Constitution and Sovereignty

We strongly support, defend, and abide by the constitutions of the United States and the State of Nevada and the principles upon which they were founded, and expect our elected representatives to respect these constitutions and their limitations.
We strongly affirm the Second Amendment which protects the individual right to keep and bear arms.
We strongly affirm the Tenth Amendment, that States have the authority to conduct intrastate affairs without federal interference.

We support our national sovereignty and reject the concept of global governance. No treaty shall override the U.S. constitution nor shall international foreign law be relied on or cited when Supreme Court cases are decided.

Limited Government

We support the immediate defunding and repeal of the 2010 health care package. We support a program that includes tort reform, purchase of insurance across state lines, creation of tax credited health savings accounts, and expanded client pools.

We oppose any further defunding of Medicare.

We oppose any cap and trade legislation.
We believe that education is a state and local issue best directed and controlled by parents, individual choice, and the free market.
We
support the use of vouchers and the immediate elimination of the U.S. Department   of Education.
We support legislation revoking the charter granted to the National Education Association by Congress.
We support the 1872 Mining Law. We oppose any legislative changes to such law and any additional taxes on mining.
We
oppose the designation of additional wilderness areas, national monuments, or wilderness study areas in Nevada.
We further support the reduction in area of these restrictive land designations.

Fiscal and Legislative Responsibility

Submitted legislation shall be limited to a single issue, concisely written and referencing the applicable constitutional authority, requiring a 1 day public review period for every   20 pages of text after a bill is presented to the floor. We support platform (or zero-based) budgeting, with other projects and spending being justified by necessity vs. a baseline approach that attempts to increase spending across the board from the previous fiscal year.

We demand that all legislation, rules, regulations, and public servants adhere with respect to the originally intended interpretation by the authors of the U.S. Constitution and as instructed by the Tenth Amendment, in conjunction with Article I, Section 8, to determine if it is a state or federal issue.

We support reform of Social Security, including establishment of personal retirement accounts, prohibiting use of its/their funds for any other purpose. The government must honor its commitments to U.S. citizens and legal residents who have earned rights to Social Security.
We support the elimination of federal income taxes on Social Security.

Social Issues

We acknowledge the value and inherent dignity of all innocent human life, from conception to natural death. We support the family unit, recognizing the definition of marriage as only between a man and a woman as defined in the Nevada constitution.

Citizenship

We welcome legal immigrants from all nations, cultures, and races. We demand strict enforcement of all immigration laws by all levels of government and law enforcement and we further demand that the federal government secure our borders. We support legislation making English the official language for conducting business at all levels of government.

We oppose same-day registration and voting. We demand proof of U.S. citizenship and residency at the time of registration and authentic government issued photo identification at the time of voting.
We oppose any form of a national identification card.

National Defense

We give our highest admiration, respect, and support to all of our men and women serving in the military, both in the United States and around the world. We support a strong Veterans Administration subject to effective oversight and audit, to ensure veterans and their families receive the care, benefits, and support earned as promised.

We oppose granting of constitutional rights to terrorists or enemy combatants who are not U.S. citizens.

Free Enterprise

We support free markets by eliminating government regulations that unduly impede the growth of business and jobs.
We support auditing all monetary policies, with full disclosure and transparency, as related to the Federal Reserve, FHLMC, FNMA, and any other federally sponsored corporations.
To ensure energy independence, we believe our nation has the right and the obligation to access our existing energy resources including, but not limited to, petroleum, natural gas, and coal.
We support drilling both on and off shore, mining, and emerging technologies.
We support the use of nuclear technology for energy, research, and economic purposes; including reprocessing and storage.                                                                                 We oppose any and all corporate bailouts and believe all companies must succeed or fail on their own merits, responsible only to their owners and stockholders.
We oppose any government effort to restrict, license or regulate journalists, bloggers, or persons expressing their opinions on the internet. We further oppose any attempt to impose taxes on interstate sales of items purchased over the internet.
